My stay at The W Las Vegas was pretty enjoyable overall. I loved the spacious suite and the luxurious bedding, but I did experience some hiccups with the front desk service that dampened my enthusiasm a bit. The ambiance was mostly serene, perfect for unwinding, yet there were moments of inconvenience that dragged the experience down.

Rooms
8.0
The suite was massive and stylish, with a comfortable seating area and a great bathroom setup. I appreciated the various entertainment options available as well, although I did have an issue with the fridge not being accessible.
Service
6.0
Unfortunately, the front desk staff I encountered was a bit underwhelming at times. They lacked the attentiveness expected for such a high-end place, which created some unnecessary stress, especially when I needed help with my room keys.
Location
8.0
I enjoyed being just far enough from the hustle of the strip. It was conveniently located near the Mandalay Bay, but offered a quieter environment to relax in.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were decent, with some great breakfast offerings at the coffee shop, but I found the prices a bit steep for what you get. I would've liked some more value for the costs involved.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel had some excellent amenities, including a lovely pool area. However, the pricing for things like shaded areas was pretty high, which felt a bit excessive given the overall experience.

5.4/10

My stay at The W Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay was a mix of positives and negatives. The spacious suite provided a lovely atmosphere, with a comfortable bed and a great view. However, I encountered issues like a toilet that didn't function properly and some unpleasant odors around the pool area. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but some aspects really need improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room was quite spacious and had a separate sitting area, which I appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a hectic day in Vegas. I noticed some cleanliness issues, particularly with the cigarette smoke smell that affected my experience at times.
Service
5.0
While I did receive some level of assistance from the staff, my experience at the restaurant was disappointing. We faced long wait times for drinks and the service seemed unorganized, which detracted from the overall dining experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location behind Mandalay Bay was convenient for accessing multiple attractions and amenities. I enjoyed the spaciousness that felt slightly distanced from the chaotic main strip, although the smell in some connecting hallways was an off-putting aspect.
Dining
5.0
Dining at Lupo was probably the low point of my stay. The service was frustrating, with a long wait for even basic drinks. I didn't have a chance to try other dining options but hope they might be better.
Facilities
5.0
The layout of the hotel was impressive, and I appreciated the access to the pool area, although there were some sewage smells. The amenities were generally good, but there were some inconsistencies, like how our insulated bag was treated at the pool.

7.2/10

I had a fantastic time at The W Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay, especially enjoying the spacious suites and the clean atmosphere. However, I was disappointed by the expensive minibar and the closure of the spa and gym during my visit. Though the staff was generally helpful, my check-in experience was a bit rocky, which was frustrating.

Rooms
9.0
The suites were super spacious with a comfy layout, including a large master bath and even a second half bath, which was great for my stay. The decor felt modern, which added to the upscale vibe of the hotel.
Service
6.0
The staff at the front desk could have been more welcoming, and I had to deal with some issues regarding unexpected charges. Nonetheless, I appreciated that they waived part of the resort fee for the closed spa.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was pretty convenient, with easy access to the Mandalay Bay casino and nearby restaurants. The tram to Excalibur was a definite perk for accessing the Strip, even if sometimes it felt like a trek.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed breakfast at Della’s Kitchen, although I was a bit surprised by the price tag. Overall, the food quality was good, but I could see how some might find it overpriced.
Facilities
5.0
I was disappointed that the spa and gym were closed during my stay. I had to walk to Mandalay's cardio room, which was a bit of a hassle. The available facilities were nice, though the pool area felt a bit pricey with costs like $100 for an umbrella.

5.0/10

I had a mixed experience at The W Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay. The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable environment, though I found some amenities not as appealing, particularly at the bar area. The early closure of the coffee shop was also inconvenient during my stay.

Rooms
9.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience. The decor was modern, and the layout included separate living areas, which I appreciated.
Service
7.0
While some staff, especially at the bar, were friendly and attentive, my experience with the coffee shop staff was less favorable, as they seemed slow and not overly welcoming.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is a bit farther from the bustling action of the Strip, which contributes to a quieter atmosphere but may not be ideal for everyone looking to be close to the main attractions.
Dining
7.0
I found the dining options to be varied, and I particularly enjoyed the quality of food at on-site restaurants; however, the coffee shop's early closing negatively impacted my experience.
Facilities
8.0
The gym at the hotel was one of the best I have experienced, complete with locker rooms and showers. However, the spa treatments came at a high cost, which I felt limited my options.

My stay at The W Las Vegas was an intriguing mix of luxury and inconvenience. The spacious suite was particularly impressive, though I found the service to be inconsistent at times. While I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, I encountered a few challenges with the front desk staff that could be improved. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there were areas needing attention.

Rooms
8.0
The suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, with multiple bathrooms and modern decor. However, I did face some issues with housekeeping not restocking my room promptly.
Service
6.0
While the staff were generally friendly and attentive, I experienced delays and lack of communication at the front desk which marred my overall impression.
Location
7.0
Situated away from the bustling center, The W offers a quieter retreat that's still conveniently connected to Mandalay Bay's amenities.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were available but often overpriced and busy, especially during conference times. I had a few difficulties securing a table.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were well-maintained, including the pools and spa options. However, I found the additional fees for services were a bit excessive.
